La th\u00e9orie des \u00abfausses incitations\u00bb a la vie dure! Selon une opinion tr\u00e8s r\u00e9pandue, le pharmacien gagne plus s\u2019il vend des m\u00e9dicaments plus chers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

La marge du pharmacien se compose d\u2019une part fixe et d\u2019une part en pourcentage. La part fixe est la m\u00eame pour tous les m\u00e9dicaments d\u2019une m\u00eame classe de prix. Si fausse incitation il y a, elle concerne donc la marge en pourcentage. Mais apparemment personne ne se donne la peine de faire le calcul!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Supposons qu\u2019un pharmacien ach\u00e8te un m\u00e9dicament au prix de 50 francs. La marge en pourcentage s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 6 francs, montant qu\u2019il doit se partager avec le grossiste. Il reste alors 3 francs au pharmacien.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Imaginons qu\u2019il vende un m\u00e9dicament dont le prix d\u2019achat est de 75 francs (50 pour cent plus cher!). En appliquant le m\u00eame calcul, sa marge est de 4.50 francs, soit 1.50 franc de plus. Jusqu\u2019ici rien \u00e0 redire.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Cette comparaison n\u2019est toutefois pas r\u00e9aliste et certainement pas la r\u00e8gle, car on ne trouve pas sur le march\u00e9 de m\u00e9dicaments comparables et interchangeables ayant une diff\u00e9rence de prix de 50 pour cent. S\u2019agissant des g\u00e9n\u00e9riques par exemple, la diff\u00e9rence de prix se situe entre 20 et 30 pour cent. En refaisant notre calcul, la fausse incitation si souvent d\u00e9nonc\u00e9e se monte alors \u00e0 90 centimes. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Conclusion: la fausse incitation est de l\u2019ordre de quelques centimes. Pour une vraie fausse incitation, il faudrait que le pharmacien s\u00e9lectionne un m\u00e9dicament comparable nettement plus cher, puis qu\u2019il l\u2019explique au patient, etc. Parler d\u2019une fausse incitation est donc ici tout \u00e0 fait d\u00e9plac\u00e9.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
