This looks to be a really old piece. It has an old type clasp and the assembly is very unique and dated. The center part with the little turquoise colored stone is attached to the back with 2 small hooks. One of those hooks is broken so the center piece isn't exactly in the center anymore but is still attached. There is also a center stone missing and the brooch has some scratches and dings from normal wear. The brooch has no markings on it, but has been acid tested and confirmed as sterling silver. It does have a gold vermeil plating over it and the gold is in overall good condition and is still shiny. The brooch measures 1.84" x 1.21". I do not believe the stones are genuine turquoise but do not know that for sure. The total weight is 7.1g. (Bin#MSP4)
